It's been almost a month since my last post where I said that I've started deep digging my garden. Well in this month things haven't changed a lot. I'm still deep digging.
This autumn has been very difficult. Every week we have at least 4 days with rain so I'm catching a day or two a week to deep dig. Soil is terrible wet so it's making my job even harder.
On top of everything this week rain situation changed and we got our first snow.
I still have 1/3 of the garden to finish, I haven't harvested my cabbages and kale and I still have to clean the leaves. But with all this rain and snow I doubt I will be able to finish everything before New year. I'm afraid this will be first time in almost a decade that my garden will not be finished in time.
On the good side we managed to save enough hay for this winter. Also we finally finished preparing woods for this winter. 10m3 of woods should be enough until March or April and then we'll need to get some more woods.
We'd get all at once but there's no room for more at the moment. My garage and work shed are completely full.
Luckily the snow didn't last long so I caught few hours of sun today to deep dig another part of the garden. Tomorrow we'll get more rain so that's it for this week.
